The 6.5 diesel needs all the cooling it can get. The BRF is one more mod in the chain. The cooling system should be looked at as a System. At a minimum a good balanced flow water pump, HD fan clutch and a composite fan blade should be installed. Look on the main cooling page for our BF cooling system. A good radiator is a must also. You should pull the radiator every two years and clean the outside of it, behind the oil coolers you can find the radiator totally blocked off with dirt. That kills almost 1/3 of your cooling surface of the radiator.
