The 1992-2002 6.5 diesels need all the cooling they can get! This kit is another way to help cooling system.
This kit is one more thing in the cooling system to help keep the engine running cool.
The original design has all the hot water from the heater core dumping right back to the cold side of radiator where the water pump can pick it up before it has been cooled by the radiator!
With this kit all the water is return to the hot side so that water must travel through the radiator to be cooled.
Simply splice the tee into your upper radiator hose then with the fittings and hose supplied run the new hose to the new tee in upper radiator hose.
You will cap off the nipple on the radiator with supplied hardware.
