Product Description
Billet Crankshaft Pulley for military Humvee 6.5 diesels w/8 groove serpentine belt, 24 volt systems (8 groove).
This also works with the “Geared Fan Drive” applications.
Attention: This is not for 6 groove applications (civilian Hummer) if you need the 6 groove pulley see this listing.
This pulley is 2.5 pounds lighter and made from a billet block of aluminum and finally does away with the problems the factory pulleys have. It is anodized to protect it. Will fit 6.5 diesels with the 8 groove serp belt system.
(This pulley “might” also work for superchargers with an 8 groove pulley set up).
This is a lifetime part you will not need to change it ever again.
If you have had a 6.5 diesel for anytime you know all about the factory pulley problems, this will fix it for good.
The stock pulleys are known to crack/separate and fail quite often. The stock pulley after it has failed can sound like a rod knock. Be sure to inspect your old pulley every oil change if you see any sign of the rubber cracking or dry rot or if you can move the outside ring independent of the hub then replace it immediately!
Notice: the video shows the last batch of green pulleys the new pulleys are a Matte black color now as seen in picture above.
